Typically, when I’m not overwhelmed by everyday life, I post a new article every Monday and Thursday. Last week was a very hectic week for me, mainly because I was studying (and taking) my project manager professional (PMP) exam. It’s a 4 hour test that’s extremely difficult to pass unless you study like a madman. Because of this, I could only post on Wednesday – so my apologies …. but I don’t want to use this post to talk about that – because its December 24th!
This week is Christmas week, and today is Christmas Eve. So for today, I just want to wish all my readers a Merry Christmas!
Christmas is very special to me for two significant reasons. The first being a special time for enjoying a day of happiness with my family. Its rare these days to have an entire day focused on just being with family and spending quality time together. (with no interference from the outside world)
No matter how hectic your life is right now, I encourage you to spend time ‘loving’ on your family these next two days. Don’t worry about anything else, just focus on the special time you have right now to hold onto those you love.
The second reason Christmas is special to me is because I celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ tomorrow, which is a cornerstone of my faith. I believe that Jesus is more than a man, but is Lord, which makes Christmas beyond special. Christmas points to meaning in this life, and provides hope for my soul.
Whatever your beliefs, I do wish you all the happiness, comfort, and joy this Christmas – and pray that you experience a new closeness with your parents, spouses, children, and siblings.
Merry Christmas!
