Well, I’m back from my NYC trip and I’m just getting back into the swing of things. It is always great to go on vacation, but also at the same time, always hard to assimilate back into everyday life. I only wish I could be on vacation 100% of the time and travel non-stop. There is something about traveling that just brings excitement into life, which is one of the reasons I love it so much.
One day in the future I anticipate traveling will become a bigger part of my life, but in the meantime – I have to work hard to live. Which, in reality isn’t so terrible as I enjoy work and don’t anticipate ever retiring.
Frankly, it’s just not in my nature to retire. For me, work is fun and entertaining. I enjoy the accomplishment work provides and can see myself doing something well into my 80s.
Well, not only is it already February, but it is also time for another list of great reads. I’m guessing you’re familiar with many of these bloggers, but there are also a few new ones in the list that I have never featured before.
As always, I’m impressed by the level of talent within the personal finance arena. There are a lot of great PF websites out there. Be sure to take time exploring some of these articles. Your wallet will thank you for it.

I’m with you on the retirement aspect! I’ll never fully retire but I also won’t be working 40+ hours week for forever either!
Thanks for the mention and I’m glad you enjoyed your vacation!

I know! My wife and I were thankful we planned the trip when we did and missed the storm of the year.
Thanks for the shout-out! I am with you on the retirement thing. If I can get to the point in my life where I can STAY HEALTHY AND FIT, I will run my summer camp until my last breath. Hilarious video, man!

Thanks for adding me to your list this week Jason. I would also like to do a lot of traveling as well. Theirs just something about being able to go wherever you want and working abroad. But like you right now I have to work hard and on top of that my kids are young yet but once they get older I plan to do a lot more.
Thanks for the mentions Jason! I am with you on the retirement idea. While I don’t plan on working 40+ hours once I am at “retirement” age, I do want to still be doing something that’ll keep me active and contributing, or simply just continuing to pursue entrepreneurship that I am in now.

Sounds a lot like me John. I plan to pursue entrepreneurship in retirement.
Thanks for including Kyle’s guest post. He did a terrific job on it. I plan on semi-retiring. I don’t want to sit on my butt all day watching television, but I’d like a less structured schedule and would like to be able to sleep past 6 a little more often.

What a horrible day for that dude! That’s exactly why I’m not a car thief. That, and that it’s immoral….but really more because of the monkeys.
